We offer our experience and technology to the process industries as an independent
consultant. During project setup, a multi-disciplinary team is brought together,
consisting of the right mix of people from R&D, engineering, operations and business.
Being an outsider, we bring in a fresh and unprejudiced view in such a Process Synthesis
team.
During process meetings we challenge the team members, looking for input to the
knowledge based system Prosyn™. By presenting our findings we stir up much more
information than appeared to be available initially. At the same time we identify where
essential knowledge or understanding is missing, giving direction to further research.

By applying its proprietary Process Synthesis Technology and Approach, PDC has shown
that it can create a new dynamic in process development teams. This has yielded
significantly higher cost savings than the approach, traditionally applied in industry.
PDC has conducted over 120 industrial Process Synthesis projects and has consistently
beaten existing 'state-of-the-art' designs with 20-80% less capital, energy and operating
costs.
Apart from integral Process Synthesis projects, we also offer services in the
area of basic data – and modeling support. Furthermore, we give managerial and technical
courses on topics relating to Process Synthesis.
